Right off the bat, The Silo is a gorgeous building on the outside. It is located on 87th St in Lenexa. With the delicious restaurant on the main level, below you will find the clubhouse of the beautiful golf course, Canyon Farms.
Let’s talk about the good stuff: FOOD! You can not go wrong with ordering anything on the menu. But some pointers when ordering(I am a host here and have seen everything). When ordering appetizers, you HAVE TO try the whipped goat cheese! I can not even put into words how delicious it is. But if you are interested in something else the hummus and sesame chicken wings are also very very good.
Moving to main courses, they have everything from salads to flatbreads to sandwiches. It is a varied menu but again you can’t go wrong with any choice. Some of my top favorites are the Wedge salad, The Speck & Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread, and the Mac n Cheese.
And for my favorite round: Desserts! The most popular item on our dessert menu is the 32 layered chocolate cake(yes 32 layers). Every single bite gets better each time. If you go here, it is seriously something you can not miss out on trying!
